"I was leader of a group of pupils and staff who travelled to Paris between 27th March and 1st April. We were met at Southend airport by our driver, Dave Ketely, who accompanied us throughout the trip.
I have travelled on more than 30 school trips, most of them involving coach travel. I think I can say that, without exception, Dave was the best driver I have encountered. Thoroughly professional in all aspects, he managed to negotiate the often horrendous Parisien traffic with complete equanimity, got us to our destinations in good time, was unfailingly helpful, good company, and an invaluable source of judicious advice. Not only that, the pupils took to him in a way that isn't always the case on these trips.
We will be returning to Paris with another group between the 20th and 25th of June. I'm not sure what arrangements Ferryhill have made, but if Galleon Travel are to be our coach company, I would be more than happy if Dave was to be our driver. That, I think, is the best testimonial I can offer. I think that Dave himself would be happy with that arrangement as well!

Can you please pass on my thanks to all who have supported us with our music tour. We were very impressed with the coach when it first arrived. It was comfortable, spacious and prompt. Please do let Galleon coaches know that the drivers were brilliant. In particular Dave, who really helped to make the trip smooth and fun.
Andrea, our tour guide, was amazing. She was so organised and forward thinking that everything was seamless. She also integrated brilliantly with students and staff and we all wanted to adopt her to take her home with us. The concert venues were excellent and the final concert in Fuschl in particular had a brilliant audience that encouraged the students to give an outstanding performance, which none of them will forget.
The trips, all booked through Club Europe, were entertaining and educational. Austria is a superb destination for a music trip and I look forward to booking our next trip with Club Europe. Thank you so much to the whole team.
