We run a summer camp that provides country holidays for underprivileged children from the inner cities. We need to transport over 1,000 children from several pick up points in East London to our site near Colchester over 5 weekends. Because we cater for young, potentially vulnerable children it is imperative that we select a reliable, trustworthy travel patrner and, having been let down in the past, we turned to Galleon Travel.

Galleon have proved not only totally dependable but also flexible enough to react to last minute schedule changes without fuss or incident. Both the office staff and the drivers are extremely professional and also friendly and a pleasure to deal with. As a charity, with limited resources, we were also delighted by their highly competitive rates.

Dear Helen - just a follow up to my phone call to you today regarding our appreciation for the wonderful and capable services of your driver Steve yesterday.  He was efficient and amiable from the start of the journey to its finish and women, as we both can admit, can be demanding!  He arrived promptly with directions for the destination already researched, his mood could not have been kinder and he even laughed at all my jokes which is performance above and beyond the call of duty.  If he can stand to be with the women of the Kensington Chelsea Women's' Club again, we should be delighted to have him escort us on all our future journeys.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for organising the day trip to France on Saturday 5th June 2010. the two drivers Craig and Terry were both execellent, they made our day perfect. Next time we go we will have the same drivers again please!

As an invited guest of the retired members of NATIONAL GRID (British Gas) on their trip to BRIGHTON on Weds 9th June ,I found the quality and presentation of your vehicle most impressive and the Driver (JASON ? ) was first class in his driving skills and customer care/communication,in other words he made a good day a perfect day.

I wanted to just write and give some positive feedback on our tour to the Opal Coast.
Our drivers Danny and Kevin were excellent – had a great rapport with the staff and the pupils alike. They felt like part of our group, and helped the trip run very smoothly indeed. They were professional and also flexible if we wished to change or adapt plans.

As always, we have been delighted with Galleon's service. Peter was an excellent driver (as we knew from our trip to Belgium). He was fully prepared - all venues pre-programmed into his SatNav prior to his arrival - and we discovered in conversation that he had also researched on Google Earth so that he knew what the venues looked like so that he knew when he was nearby!

As previously, Peter just knew the correct level of participation to have; not at all obtrusive but available if necessary. He fitted in well with the staff team, was friendly but professional at all times. I hope that we can continue to have Peter on future trips. I cannot praise him enough.
